SDA providers are responsible for maintaining and repairing the property to ensure it is safe and habitable for tenants. This includes both urgent and non-urgent repairs.

SDA tenants have the right to live in quality housing that is well-maintained and repaired. They should report any maintenance issues to their provider promptly.

In the NDIS housing system, initial rental leases are generally set for a period of 12 to 24 months. This timeframe serves as a foundational phase, allowing both tenants and providers to ensure the living arrangement meets the individual's needs effectively.
